Several of the guys on my team are watching me to see how this process works to see if they want to do the same. Our department only has a limited number of SBR’s and SBS’s that they can issue out. We execute several search warrants a week by doing entries on residences where having our own personal SBR to navigate close quarters would be far more effective than our issued pistols. April 13, 2015 - Jim Willi testified on the floor of the Texas Senate in support of SB 473, clarifying the right to possess NFA firearms, and SB 476, requiring CLEOs in Texas to sign ATF paperwork within 15 days. Both bills were approved by the Senate Committee the next day.
